Retro (Film Fake Test)

I noticed that several old-time film cameras had a look I liked very much. This is my first attempt to mimic this look.

I decreased the saturation and drawn a dark frame around the picture. Using primes like the 50mm f/1.8 is nice as the edges are out-of-focus. However, in full-frame cameras, the lens also adds a little bit of light fall-off that I happen to like. I did this effect just to do something similar to that falloff. (Using The GIMP).

I think it’s nice how it enhances the view over the main subject.

Black and white 135mm negative film. ORWO also made slide film of this ASA, of which I shot a roll. Not knowing what to do, I sent it to Wolfen and they returned it processed(June 1990,post-wende DDR) asking for DM1.
